Beginning Jan. 1, home health providers are allowed to furnish services under Medicare's new Home Infusion Therapy (HIT) Benefit, opening up the opportunity for additional income to many providers.
The HIT payment is a separate payment from the Durable Medical Equipment (DME) payment. Providers will need accreditation to participate and only certain drugs will be approved. This recorded webinar explains what is and is not covered under the new benefit, how HIT differs from DME, what is required for accreditation and how billing will work.
Presented by J'non Griffin, President, Home Health Solutions, a Simione Coding Company.
